Bio-Caps GmbH has improved its previous gold status to platinum in the renewal of its ESG certificate by leading certifier Ecovadis. The assessment is based on the sustainability performance of companies in the areas of environment, social affairs and corporate governance.
The company, with its development and production site in Bavaria on Lake Chiemsee in Germany, was recognized for continuous improvements in sustainability performance.
With platinum status, Bio-Caps GmbH is one of the top 1% of companies that have received an ESG certificate from Ecovadis.
"For us, this award is a confirmation of our efforts to be a sustainable company on the market. We are aware that, as a manufacturer of biodegradable coffee capsules, we must make the greatest possible contribution to environmental protection," the company explained.
"We have therefore set ourselves ambitious targets to further improve our sustainability performance."
