On September 27, 2023, Mr. Rutger Schouten, Product Manager of Bio-Caps, spoke in Barcelona at AMI's Single-Serve Capsules Congress about the upcoming legislative changes and requirements related to the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
The annual congress provides a unique platform to discuss and evaluate global trends, innovations, challenges and opportunities along the plastic and metal capsule value chain. This included players such as capsule fillers, coffee roasters, capsule manufacturers, material suppliers, technology and machine suppliers as well as companies expanding the scope of single-serve capsules.
